Bharatpur - Birdwatcher's Paradise
As

Imperial, Dalmatian Pelicans, Painted and Asian Openbill Storks,
Dusky Eagle Owls, Sarus and Demoiselle Cranes. You can also
see 20 species of ducks.
Besides the bird sanctuary, Bharatpur has many tourist attractions.
Built in the 18th century Lohagarh Fort is an important landmark
in Bharatpur. Maharaja Suraj Mal founded Bhraratpur. Some
other tourist attractions in Bharatpur include Kishori Mahal,
Mahal Khas and Kothi Khas inside the Lohagarh Fort.
The Jawahar Burj and Fateh Burj are two imposing towers built
by Maharaja Suraj Mal to mark of his victories over the Mughals
and British respectively. These two towers out of eight are
the only towers that stand tall today.
